Cooked on the Weber Griddle

    Preparation:

  • Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions.
  • Peel and crush the garlic, and slice the shallots — set aside.
  • Wash and prepare the carrots, red peppers, and spring onions; cut into thin strips.
  • Clean and cut the broccoli into small florets.
  • Shred the spring cabbage and set all vegetables aside, ready for cooking.
  • At the Grill:

  • Prepare the barbecue for direct cooking on high heat and preheat the griddle for 15 minutes.
  • Lightly oil the griddle surface.
  • Sauté the garlic and shallots until fragrant.
  • Add the carrots, red peppers, broccoli, and spring onions. Sear for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently for even cooking.
  • Add 50 ml (½ dl) water to the vegetables and steam under the basting dome for 1–2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked noodles and Chow Mein sauce. Stir through for 1–2 minutes until evenly coated and glossy.
