the Ingredients

Chicken  Skewers 346X318
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 inch fresh root ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp soft dark brown sugar
  • 2 limes, juice of
  • 1-2 red chillies, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
  • 150ml coconut milk
  • 2 chicken breast fillets, cut into long strips


This recipe for Thai Style Chicken Kebabs is full of flavour with a bit of a kick!

  • Prepare the marinade. Combine the garlic, ginger and brown sugar in a pestle & mortar and grind to a paste.
  • Add the lime juice, chillies, coriander and coconut milk, and stir.
  • Pour the marinade into a re-sealable food bag and add the chicken.
  • Marinade for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Place onto the skewers of the kebab set and cook over a direct heat. Cook for 15 minutes, turning once.
