Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the Same Starter Cubes. Just bought a new package of the starter cubes. It is obvious that Weber has modified the formula for the cubes. They crumble as you try to take them out of the package. I want the old cubes back that I had been using for many years. The older version stayed intact! Will switch to my old standby…wood shavings from workshop and a little canola oil.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smells like lighter fluid It worked well at lighting the charcoal but it has a pretty strong odor similar to lighter fluid. While I couldn't taste what I smelled, I would prefer something non-chemical.
