Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the Smokey Joe Bought this a while ago, and it holds enough charcoal for the Smokey Joe. I use lump charcoal, so I try to use medium sized pieces, and fill it to the top. After about 10 minutes, I dump it out into the grill the add more charcoal for higher temps. Definitely recommend a chimney regardless of grill.
