  • 150g puff pastry
  • 50g butter
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 2 Bramley apples, peeled, cored and cut in to chunks

Instructions

These individual Caramel Apple Puffs are the ideal quick barbecue dessert with none of the fuss.

  • Cut out puff pastry into 8cm rounds and place on a lined baking tray. Heat 50g of butter and 100g caster sugar in a small pan until you have a golden brown caramel.
  • Add chunks of bramley apple to the caramel and coat evenly, then spoon into the centre of the pastry rounds.
  • Bake over an in-direct heat for 25-30 mins until the pastry is cooked. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
