Rated 5 out of 5 by EddieS from Spectacular steaks I had a Weber Summit grill for years - the best grill ever. We moved and I gave it to my son. I'm getting old and it was too big for the space. He's delighted. Putting the Genesis II LX E-440 together was easy, but time consuming. Allow yourself about 6 hours if you assemble it and make sure you have someone around for a little help on occasion. YouTube is quite helpful if you get stuck. The LX E-440 cooks the same way as the Summit. I am thrilled. With 4 burners, it's easy to use indirect heat. The cooking surface is large so you can cook at low temps on one end and sear on the other. Very versatile. Of course, with the side burner, it adds to your cooking options. Searing a steak on high is fabulous. I criss-cross the steak after 2 minutes on each side for the grill marks. Beautiful! I cook a 2" thick NY strip for 4 minutes on each side for a medium rare finish. Delicious. The only caution is that you should use a long glove when you open the grill with all burners on high. The heat will singe your arm if you're not careful. No big deal for me as I've always done that. Grill on!!
