All About Pellets

Use high-quality pellets
Not all pellets are created equal. We highly recommend using Weber® all-natural hardwood pellets in your grill for optimal performance. Made with 100% hardwood and no fillers, Weber® pellets were specifically crafted for Weber® pellet grills.
Check for freshness
Before grilling, break a pellet in half. Pellets should break with a crisp snap, not crumble in your hand. Fresh, high-quality pellets should give off minimal dust and should not appear faded or white in color.
Store safely
Store unused pellets indoors in an airtight container to prevent the absorption of moisture and humidity. Keep pellets away from heat sources until you load them in the hopper.
Shop the Perfect Pellets for Your Next Cook
Weber® all-natural hardwood pellets come in a range of varieties, each with their own unique flavor profiles and strengths, from mild to strong.
How to Clean and Maintain Your Searwood™ Grill
We recommend cleaning your grill after any low and slow cook. Or clean it after 12 hours of cooking time or 9 cook sessions, whichever comes first.
