Proscuitto Wrapped Asparagus
  • Completed step 16 asparagus spears
  • Completed step 8 thin slices prosciutto, cut lengthwise in half
  • Completed step Kosher salt
  • Completed step Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Completed step ½ teaspoon finely grated zest
  • Completed step 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, finely grated

  • Trim the tough ends of the asparagus. Wrap a prosciutto slice around each asparagus spear, leaving the base and tips exposed.
  • Lightly brush the asparagus and prosciutto with oil and season the asparagus tips with salt.
  • Preheat the griddle. Place the Weber Crafted frame on the right side of the grill, and then add the griddle to preheat. Prepare the grill for direct cooking over medium heat (350° to 450°F).
    Set the griddle insert in place to preheat the grill. Set the grill to Manual Mode level 6 and preheat for 15 minutes.
  • Lightly coat the griddle with oil. Arrange the asparagus on the griddle and cook over direct medium heat with the lid closed.

  • Open the lid, turn the asparagus over, and close the lid.
    Turn the asparagus over.
  • Remove the asparagus from the griddle using tongs.
