“What makes Weber® Q stand out is its versatility. Grillers can go from low and slow to high-heat searing, so you can cook just about anything on here. And because of its size, you can grill pretty much anywhere, from the backyard to the tailgate to small balconies. Plus, it’s easy to use, and it’s built to last.”

A1. The new Q grill has more room and more heat for cooking than previous Q2200 grill models.
· 15% more volume under the lid
· 14% larger cooking area (320 sq. in vs 280 sq. in)
· 50% more BTU’s (18,000 vs 12,000)
The “+”/”plus” is designed to extend the temp range of the grill. The main/”Q” burner will achieve Low/Med/High temp set points of 300°F/400°F/500°F but if you want to extend the temp range, say reach 700°F for exceptional sear marks then you would use the main burner and the “plus” burner. Conversely if you want to cook in the low and slow range (~250°F) then you would only use the “plus” burner.
The side tables can with hold up to 15 lbs with minimal deflection.
The metal slots inside the lid and the plastic slots on the rear cradle are designed to work with your Weber Connect Accessories.
· The inside lid is designed to hold your ambient probe. Instead of mounting the ambient probe on your cooking grates, we have designed the lid to hold your ambient probe thus giving you a semi-permanent mounting location for your ambient probe.
· The rear cradle slots are designed to hold the Weber Connect probe cord wraps. Simply slide the cord wrap into the slots and then warp your probe cable onto the cord warp to keep them tightly organized.
No. Weber does not recommend using a 1lb tank adaptor because the hi BTU’s of the grill (18,000) may impact the performance of the 1lb tank. The higher the BTU of a grill the lower the performance of the 1lb disposable tank.
