No, you cannot control the grill from your smart phone. You can easily control your grill’s temperature using its precise burner knobs.

Upon downloading the WEBER CONNECT app, pair your grill to the app via Bluetooth by following these steps:

1.Turn your WEBER CONNECT display.

2.Open the WEBER CONNECT app and tap “Pair Device”

3.Hold your smartphone near the grill until it is detected by the app

4.Once the grill is found, tap “Pair”

5.Confirm the pairing on the WEBER CONNECT module; a visual is provided in the app for reference

Every five years replaced some parts ( burners,flavor bars and grill when needed) and it just kept going. The auto lighter still worked when I put it out to the garbage. So,it made perfect sense to buy another Weber.

However, this gave me the chance to look over every part and make sure everything was up to snuff. (In the past, I’ve had a chipped lid from the factory and Weber sent me a replacement lid.) Everything was good. This is a great grill. Sears wonderfully, no hot spots, and the griddle insert took my grill game to another level. I’m glad I bought this. This is my 4th Weber grill and my first LP Weber.
