Do you recommend wrapping slow cooking pork in foil? Or, placing it in a dish?

Hi Jill! The great thing about BBQ is there are a variety of methods that work equally well, so it really comes down to your personal preference. That said, I wrap the pork shoulder in foil when it reaches 160 degrees, put it back on the grill or smoker and let it continue to cook until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 190. Then I pull it off and let it rest, covered, for at least an hour. Check out this link for more information about how to make the perfect pork shoulder. Thanks!

I love my iGrill. I've always eyeballed my food to determine doneness and as you'd expect, I win a few and lose a few. Now that I use iGrill religiously my food comes out perfect everytime. I cooked pork chops the other night and for the first time ever they weren't overcooked. Thanks iGrill.

I am so glad to hear that you love your iGrill, Fonda! I can say firsthand that I no longer have to settle for dry, overcooked chicken. Grill on!
