70th Anniversary Facebook Competition
The following Terms and Conditions govern the participation in the competition 70th Anniversary Kettle Competition conducted on Facebook.
1. The Promoter
1.1 The Promoter is Weber-Stephen Products (U.K.) Limited, a company registered in England with company number 03518831 and with a registered office at 10th Floor, The Metro Building, 1 Butterwick, London W6 8DL. All correspondence in connection with this competition should be sent to Weber-Stephen Products (U.K) Limited, at 10th Floor, The Metro Building, 1 Butterwick, London, W6 8DL
1.2 The competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
2. Who Can Enter
2.1 Competition entrants must be United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland residents, aged 18 years or over but excludes employees of the Promoter, its associated companies, agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this competition. Delivery of the prize must be within the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland .
2.2 Competition entrants must have a Facebook account and must adhere to Facebook’s Terms and Conditions.
2.3 By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms and conditions of this competition. In the event of a conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence.
2.4 No purchase necessary.
3. Deadline For Entries
3.1 Entries must be received between 17.00 on 24.02.2022 and 23:59 on 27.02.2022 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.
4. How To Enter
4.1 To enter go to “Weber Grills – UK” Facebook page, follow the competition instructions on the post entitled “70th Anniversary Kettle Competition”.
4.2 There is a limit of one entry per person. Multiple entries submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems will not be entered into the draw.
4.3 No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid, regardless of the cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
4.4 Those entries not in accordance with the rules will be void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude the entry from the competition.
5. The Prize
5.1 The prize is 1 x Weber Anniversary Kettle Barbecue to 1 winner.
5.2 Any expenses in the general use of and the enjoyment of the prize that the winners or their guests incur are the sole responsibility of the winners or their guests
5.3 Prizes are subject to availability. They are non-transferable, non-refundable and, unless stated, there are no cash alternatives. Returns are only available for an exchange rather than monetary value. In the event that the prize is out of stock or if circumstance beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
5.4 The Promoter will deliver the prizes to the address provided by the prize winner.
6. Winner Selection
6.1 All valid and, if applicable, correct entries received by the Closing Date will be entered into a prize draw, and the winners will be picked at random.
6.2 The Promoter will aim to choose the winners within 7 days of the competition closing.
7. Winner Notification
7.1 Winners will be notified by Facebook direct message from “Weber Grills – UK” as soon as practicable after the prize draw, using the contact details provided with the competition entry. The winners will be required to respond within 7 days of notification confirming their acceptance of the prize. In the event winners do not respond to communications within this period or if any prize is declined, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and draw another winner. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the winner is not able to take up the prize.
8. Data Protection:
8.1 By entering the competition, you understand that for the purposes of administering the competition and prize fulfilment, it is necessary for the Promoter to hold and process your personal data.
8.2 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your Facebook handle and name to announce the winner of this competition.
8.3 In addition, should the Promoter collect any content and information directly from the entrants for the prize delivery such as your home address or contact details, it is for the sole use of the Promoter and will not be shared with any third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Events may occur that result in the Promoter extending, refusing, reclaiming, cancelling, terminating, modifying, or suspending the competition and/or these terms at any point and for any reason. These may be due to a third party's illegal activity, technical difficulties and/or any other reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the participant agrees that the Promoter shall have no liability as a result thereof.
9.2 The Promoter and its associated agencies, companies and distributors will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including liability for fraud or death or personal injury arising from negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or if the Promoter believes that your conduct may be unlawful or otherwise bring the competition into disrepute, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to make your entry void and will entitle the Promoter to exclude you from participating in the competition.
10.2 The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.3 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
10.4 This competition and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
