  • 20g salted butter
  • 3 shallots, peeled and very finely chopped
  • 2½ garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • small sprig of fresh thyme
  • 1kg mussels
  • 110ml white wine
  • 100ml fish stock
  • 4 tbsps flat leaf parsley, finely chopped


This recipe for mussels in white wine is perfect for all the seafood lovers!

  • Pre-heat the Gourmet Wok until smoking, and then add the butter, shallot, garlic and thyme.
  • Stir the shallots until soft. This should take less than a minute.
  • Add the mussels, shortly followed by the white wine and stock finished with a handful of the chopped parsley.
  • Allow to cook with the lid down for 3-4 minutes or until all the mussels are fully open and the licker is bubbling.
