Rated 5 out of 5 by Complete charcoal from A must have for great portable BBQ flavour As far as portability, quality and temperature control go; these are amazing. My Dad bought one quite a few years ago, I liked it so much I got one too. So handy for camping, a trip to the beach or visiting friends who don’t have a BBQ. The vents on top and bottom give great control. Even if you want to shut it down after the first round, you can easily get the charcoal going again for a second or even third round of cooking, as more people show up; or those that are there already and just want more tasty food! It’s also really good for smoking. Either the standard wood chips on charcoal, or as I’ve done a few times; wood chips on the bottom of the BBQ and a gas cooker underneath. It’s smokes better than some purpose built smokers, if you know what you’re doing. After years of use, they’re both still going strong. Just remember to look after them. Don’t leave outside unprotected and just a gentle clean. I’ve inherited my Dad’s, so I now have dedicated omnivore and vegetarian versions of this great BBQ, they take up no room in the car; so no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by James25 from Love this This is a steak machine, love having it easy at hand for a winter steak night or grilled fish. Nice to be able to enough space to regulate the temp by moving the coals to one side, even on a small grill. So easy to store and travel with.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Alexander N. from Low quality grate lets it down While the bbq itself is a good size and well designed, unfortunately the grate is low quality metal and rusts badly. Mine is basically unusable after a few years, which is a shame given the cost of the product. I can't recommend it.
