Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bit of kit but with flaws, Got this for Father’s Day this year, good bit of kit but: Two observations I found with the Weber rotisserie: 1. You have to attach the motor upside down or the lid rests on the shaft ever so slightly. 2. I found that the shaft can pull out from the motor sometimes, I’ve fixed that by getting a small stainless steel locking collar from Amazon. 3. The motor can get very hot, but I don’t think it’s a problem. Come on Weber you should know better and redesign the bracket so it does what it says on the tin Anyway good grilling! 😎😎😎

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor product for the cost. Helps make an excellent rotisserie chicken… when it works. The spit bar is too short for the 4 burner Spirit (I use the E-435). If you push the spit all the way into the motor the one of the square pieces sits inside the BBQ body which both gouges the metal/paintwork and prevents it spinning correctly. If you pull it back a little so it’s on the round it then falls out of the motor and then your meat isn’t spinning. Also the diagrams show the spit motor hole should be at the top but then the bar sits too high and you can’t close the lid? Overall seems a poor design with contradicting instructions and requires you to keep checking the motor is spinning and your meat isn’t just being roasted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless Don’t bother buying this, it doesn’t work, the spit drops out of the motor after a few minutes.
