Batter

  • Completed step 1 cup Milk
  • Completed step ½ cup butter, melted
  • Completed step 1 cup sugar
  • Completed step 1 cup self-rising flour

Fruit

  • Completed step 1 pound frozen blueberries, thawed
  • Completed step 2 tablespoons
  • Completed step 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • Completed step 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping

  • Completed step ¾ cup brown sugar
  • Completed step ¾ cup pecans, chopped
  • Completed step ¼ cup butter

Take Your Grilling Anywhere

FIRE UP YOUR GRILL

Instructions

  • Prepare the grill for indirect cooking over medium-low heat (350º-400ºF).
  • In a large bowl, combine the batter ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  • In another medium bowl, add the blueberries, followed by the sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Gently stir.
  • Grease the inside of the cast-iron skillet with additional butter then add 3/4 of the blueberry mixture.
  • Add all of the batter to the skillet and top with the remaining blueberries.
  • Grill the skillet over indirect medium heat, with the lid closed, until the top begins to brown, approximately 45 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients then add the mixture evenly across the top of the cobbler.
  • Lower the lid and grill another 15 minutes.
  • Remove and serve.
