Rated 5 out of 5 by from Igniter replacement The igniter on my April 2016 Spirit failed. Nine years of use, very acceptable performance. The correct igniter kit was easy to figure out on the web site. Purchasing was very easy on the web site. The part arrived quickly and was easy to install based upon the directions included.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wires are too short! I ordered a replacement igniter kit for my Weber and the wires are not long enough. Very surprising to find a quality control issue on replacement parts because Weber always has had a superior product. I had to substitute and continue to use the old wires in order to make it work. There's no excuse since I bought the starter directly from Weber rather than a cheaper one from Amazon to avoid this particular problem. I've heard this has been the case before by purchasers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back in Business You don’t need this, you can easily use of those longer grill lighters to light the grill. However this covers all bases and makes start up convenient. Do you know what’s wrong with yours? Button, wiring, connections, battery box, etc. I experimented and found out the battery box was bad, prolly an easy fix, but had all the parts here to diagnose and repair. Works great!
