Summit® Kamado E6 Charcoal Grill is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 513.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Heavy-Duty Powerhouse that Commands Respect I’ve had my Weber Summit Kamado for two months now, and it’s already clear that this is in a completely different league than my Grand Daddy's kettle. Coming from years of gas grilling, I’ve had to adjust to a new rhythm—learning to respect the additional prep time to warm the grill and refamiliarizing myself with the nuances of charcoal. The build quality is what really blew me away first. From my very first touch of the chunky handle and lifting that massive lid with ease, I could tell how unbelievably sturdy the materials are. The triangular base and locking wheels provide a rock-solid foundation that gives me total confidence in its stability. What has really impressed me is how easy it is to light and heat up, even in the dead of a cold and windy Chicago winter. The grates themselves are solid, and I’ve noticed the center removable grill is actually better than I expected; despite some reviews I’d read, it’s well-positioned and stays exactly where it’s supposed to. I haven’t used it as a smoker just yet, as I’m focused on honing my basic grilling skills first, but I’m planning to dive into that side of things once the weather finally relaxes into summer. It’s a transition from the "turn and click" convenience of gas, but the Summit Kamado makes the whole ritual feel like a premium experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Double Wall Worth the Cost The Kamado Double Wall allows a batch of charcoal to last a long time. This is the only way to have an effective Kettle larger than 22-inches. The 26-inch and the Ranch Kettle go cold really fast.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from almost great...with some extremely bad design Cooks great, but the design of some parts are really poor. Grates are great. Dual height fire is great. Seals well, holds heat well. Lots of room. The ash handling... seems to an afterthought that Webber gave up on years ago. It is cheap, flimsy, and just terrible on a grill of this cost. CAUTION!! Grill is VERY poorly balanced. The leg design exacerbates this because it seems Webber does not have an engineer on staff (or even a smart kid). If you remove the grates for cleaning..the entire grill may fall over on its back. Sitting on flat concrete...mine did. Was otherwise pristine...now the lid is crushed in and will now rust out..killing a $1300 grill an few years. Such an easy fix if someone knew design (or geometry, or math, or just had common sense.
