As an owner of multiple Weber products (my grill was my latest and last purchase of weber) who actually takes the time to register their purchases I expected to be treated a little bit better when I unknowingly made a purchase through an "unauthorized" dealer. Buyer BEWARE who you are purchasing from. This product is fantastic but there is NO distinction between an authorized and unauthorized dealer. Do not chance your warranty on such a high dollar item. I certainly would not have if I thought a brand new item could be sold and shipped from someone who is "unauthorized".

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fergmeister from My largest smoker Following a microburst that sent my 18" flying to never never land I replaced it with the 22" charcoal WSM. It accommodates about everything that I need smoked, 15lb turkey, two slabs of baby backs (18" ea.). Still dialing in the cook times. Using sand in the water pan to compensate for temp. fluctuation with a water pan resting on top of the sand. With this configuration I get the benefits of the water and warmer stable temperature. The next mod. will be a hinged top so I don't have to lift off the lid during the cook. Family said, Best Turkey ever! Don't forget to brine!

Rated 4 out of 5 by gwl61 from WSM vs Pellet smokers The WSM cooker is an awesome smoker. I've done 2 cooks with it since I bought it a month ago in zero degree weather and this cooker was a treat to operate and the food taste delicious. I also own a pellet smoker for past 7 years, and I'm not impressed with pellet cookers as the food tastes dry and bland. Real BBQ flavor comes from charcoal and wood, and the WSM cooker performs and produces the flavor I have been missing out on. Temp control is amazing as well. I can't wait for warmer weather to really get cooking on my WSM. Good bye to pellet cooking for me.
