Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replacement covered under warranty! I have a 26” kettle and this part is covered under the warranty for 5 years. I attempted to get this part warranted by using the automated procedure on the website, but it said it was not within the warranty period. I posted a negative review and was contacted the next business day with an apology and order number for the replacement. This is outstanding customer service by Weber which is so often lacking these days! I still feel that the sweeps could be more substantial of thicker gauge metal to prevent them bending if charcoal debris gets under the blade when sweeping. When the blade is bent up, you are no longer able to control intake precisely which is needed for temperature control when doing long smokes. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with my Weber kettle and especially appreciative of Webers commitment to there customers!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as the original. The mechanism holding the main shaft seems looser than the one being replaced, which had a wing nut to tighten it. The new blades don't align properly with the air slots in the grill. The new kit seems to be made for some type of gas grill instead of a charcoal grill.
