Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative to a gas grill I love this grill. It works, as well as any of my gas grills. I made a mistake. covering the aluminum insert with foil thinking that would be smart. But what it did was capture more drippings and caused a flareup. Then my grill stopped working. I almost threw it away. Then I replaced the heating element. It wasn’t until I replaced it, that I realized the old one had a hole in it. It still wasn’t enough to fix it. I had to replace the controller as well. Of course it’s only those two parts that control the heat. The Weber tech support team was VERY helpful and gave me a discount of about 15% or so on the controller. It still cost about $200. But it was worth it.
