Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Able to Withstand the Elements I received the Grill Light as a birthday present over the summer of 2018. After immediately installing the light, I found it to be very useful in providing a view of the grilling surface at night. Fast forward several months and I noticed that the light was no longer functioning (using either the sensor or the on/off button). I thought it was the batteries so I replaced them only to realize that the interior of the device had moisture (around the batteries and where the light sits). Even with the new batteries, the light did not function due to the lack of a proper seal to avoid moisture penetration (even with keeping a cover on the lid when not in use).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for Outdoor Use Bought this lamp from Lowe's end of summer, 2017; it failed by the end of the grilling season. Lowe's replaced it, and used the replacement about a month, then put cover on the grill for the winter. Spring, 2018, went to use the (Spirit) grill first time for the season, lamp sputtered, barely glowed, and finally died. Batteries check out ok, can't tell if the problem is the LED or the switch; either way, it doesn't work. My old (10 years) magnetized mountain gooseneck with multiple LEDs is still chugging along, and carried me through another season. Given the above, Weber obviously has some design flaw causing unit (s) to fail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A real disappointment. Not rain tight! I've had one season of use from this light where it worked well. It wasn't immediately apparent, but during a light rain the light slowly filled with water then died. My grill is always covered when not in use. After a few days drying time the light started to work again, but the led is ruined. It glows but only just barely and doesn't produce usable light.
