Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad design.. Closure lock mechanism is just not workable on this model. I had high hopes for these as I loved my original Weber tongs but the lock works in only one direction which causes you to fumble around while trying to open the tongs by hitting them against your leg or whatever to open them. I’ve wrestled with these for 10 or 15 cooks now and it’s just not workable. Bad design in my book! I love Weber products but this one is not usable.
