Rated 4 out of 5 by Steve of Cave Creek from One More Time ! I was in the process of cleaning, restoring, polishing, and replacing old parts on my Webers. The very old (circa 1970's) One Touch Cleaning Systems needed what I call the wings. The old ones just wouldn't clean up (CLR, 320 to 600 grit paper, #2, 3 and 4-000 steel wool, etc.), so I decided to simply replace. The new ones add the needed touch to the now clean bowls, lids, and touched up white wall wheels. The aluminum legs also cleaned up nicely with 400-600 grit paper and some Flitz metal polish. I also purchased some of the new style bucket cleaning systems in case I want to convert the older ones to a newer config. Thanks. Ciao, Steve of Cave Creek, AZ., Keep BBQing!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Woodstock from Crummy Instructions and Too Close Tolerances This thing took over an hour to install. Removing the old unit per the recommended way didn't work. I resorted to a Dremel tool to finally get the old unit out. The installation instructions have NO WORDS, only pictures. Really? Finally, when I tried to install the last part, it was impossible to install the handle. I ended up leaving it out in order to just barely get the handle in. The older model system, which used a set screw, was much simpler and easier to replace. While I'd buy the product again (because otherwise, you're looking at buying a whole new Weber), I'm hoping Weber does something to (a) get a better instruction sheet and (b) loosen up the part tolerances a bit so everything would fit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by TBDawg from Don't last long and removing caused problem I've had my performer grill for 7 years and have had to replace these 3 times. And the first replacement process was extremely difficult (as others have stated) as it was fused to the bottom of the grill. I was able to get it off, but it led to the bottom of the grill failing a few years later such that I now have a hole that makes the bottom vent useless. Love Weber grills, but would expect them to last more than 7 years.
