Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inferior Replacement Like others, I received this brush as a replacement for the shorter wire version that was recalled. And I agree with other reviewers about the significantly different and less effective configuration relative to ability to clean (downgrade), the flimsy plastic bristles that have nowhere near the durability of metal (downgrade) and the lack of practicality related to instructing its use as a cold clean brush only (I think most know that cold cleaning is very difficult compared to cleaning a warm grille). I’ll add that the density of the individual bristles is significantly less than on the wire version, and there are 38% fewer rows of bristles on this replacement than on the wire version (21 rows vs. 34). The only good thing I can say about it is that the handle is nice. It is worthless for cleaning the grill grates on my Weber "Q" grille. My respect for Weber products has decreased after receiving such a poorly designed and inferior replacement tool.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a Replacement but rather a Downgrade I received this as a replacement through the recall, and I agree with others here—this is not a true replacement for the original brush, but a completely different product. While I appreciate Weber addressing the safety issue, this nylon brush simply doesn’t clean at the same level. It lacks the rigidity and effectiveness needed to remove residue, especially between grates. The expectation was a functional equivalent, but this feels like a downgrade with a different use case. As a longtime Weber customer, that’s disappointing. I hope Weber takes this feedback seriously and offers a solution that matches the original performance while maintaining safety.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Plastic Recall Brush Replacement! This is just a cheap temporary brush to address their ongoing litigation for the metal wire bristle brush. I received this as a replacement for the weber wire brush. First, this is not a replacement, it is a cheap way to appease the regulators/lawsuit. Second, why don't you inform the 3.3 million customers who took the time and energy filling out the recall forms that you will be not be replacing with a similar brush but a cheap plastic bristle brush that is worthless in cleaning your weber grill grates....Weber lost a lot of confidence and respect for your brand after this bait and switch scam you are running right now just to save a dime!
