Best BBQ Purchase ever

Ok, so I actually have the E-210 model, but the website wouldn't allow me to bring up the page to write a review for that one for some weird reason. These grills are virtually identical anyway.

I love this grill. I received it as a father's day present this past June and I have used it 2-3 times/week since. Because of the two burners, I have only emptied 1 propane tank so far. It uses less propane (because it doesn't have the 3rd burner) but still gets incredibly hot and fast.

My wife was concerned when we got it about the size of the grill. I wasn't. It is perfect. We are a family of 5 who also enjoy entertaining and I have not had any issues whatsoever. I can easily grill 8 strip loins perfectly at a time.

The main things I love about this grill are:
1) the even and distributed temperature. There are no hot spots and no cold spots. It makes grilling something to perfection easy.
2) the easy clean up. the porcelain enamel grates are easy to clean and the slide out tray on the bottom is a breeze to clean which keeps the grill in top notch shape.
3) within 10 mins (max) the grill is at a temp of 550-600
4) the extra features are great - the propane gauge for the tank and the removable center circle grate that comes with a griddle is perfect too. I don't miss the side burner at all and I love the compactness of this grill.

I will be back again in a couple of years to write another review to see how it is holding up, but based on my experience so far, I suspect I will be able to copy and paste this review.

It's a Weber

Only had a Weber for a week and cooked on it twice- steak and burgers. This is my first Weber BBQ and I am still on the learning curve with this BBQ. So far, I am very satisfied. I bought mine at Home Depot in Canada and got free delivery and they put it together for free. It's a small BBQ and fits perfectly on my small deck. It heats up fast but cools down fast also if you open the cover during cooking so be careful about cooking with the cover up. It has cooked my food perfectly so far and I like my fist Weber although the cost in Canada is not cheap. It looks well made and it has a good warrantee.I like the hook for the gas tank as it weights my gas tank and lets me know with a gage how much gas is left in the tank It has caster and is easy to move.

Look Before You Buy

Every grill i owned was Weber. This 210 model however will eventually send me to another manufacturer. Outside design is excellent. Inside design must have been done by somebody hating life and anybody else. Just finish cleaning it and I can tell you this is nearly impossible task.

Cover have I don't know how many bolts and nuts that I did not even attempted to clean it. Rest of it is the same: too many crevices and other parts that it takes forever to clean it.,

My strong suggestion is to have the designer of this grille and President of Weber to clean it once to see that practicality means something.

Thinking that i have spent close to 600 bucks for this makes me sick.

I hate my wife for forcing me to buy this one.

Delighted with this grill

This is the first grill I've owned and I'm so pleased with its ease of operation, the very clear owners guide and the great results with steak, chicken and pork (so far). Size is excellent for a small patio area

Excellent grill

Highly recommend this grill. It is great for small spaces. The fold down tables are a plus. Fits nicely in the corner when not in use. The grill preheats quickly and heats evenly. Grilled perfect Rib eye's , sweet potatoes and corn on the cob.. I was skeptical on using a gas grill as I have always used a charcoal grill or smoker. For a quick and easy grilling experience the S-210 is the way to go!

S-210

I absolutely LOVE this thing! Great Product! "Retired" my 15 year old lava rock kind yesterday. I have to say it was another popular brand and I did get long service from it. This Weber will most likely be the last one I ever have to buy. I do take care of my things maintenance wise. I'm gonna go grill lunch right now!

Best Grill and Warranty Available

When I had my grill almost 10 years it started to rust. Weber replaced all the parts I needed. This is the best grill I've ever had. Now it's time for me to buy one for my son for Christmas!! Thank You Weber. I've told many people never to buy anything but Weber. It's the best!

The knobs on my old gas grill were the reverse of the Weber.

I just want to comment on a reviewer who returned his grill to Lowes. Basically I had the same problem, I couldn't get the grill to go over 360 degrees even after running it for a half an hour.

I performed all the steps to reset the bypass feature, but still could not get the temperature to go higher than 350 degrees, I was thinking I'd have to return it to Lowes.

I decided to test it again before calling Weber and I discovered that I had turned the knobs all the way to what I thought was high but actually was 1/4 heat - when I turned the knobs 1/4 turn to what is actually high heat the grill heated to 500 degrees in 10 minutes.

I was feeling very stupid that I would make this kind of mistake and asked myself what was I thinking.

My old gas grill was the reverse of the Weber. The Hi setting on the knob was at 3 o'clock, the low setting was at 9 o'clock.

After reading some of the reviews I see other people have made the same mistake. Now I don't feel so stupid. It's a great grill.

Weber makes great grills but this has one big design flaw.

I like it, it grills great. Same Weber quality I'm used to however....

My issue: When I got the grill I had to put the propane tank in it. I could not lift the tank up on the hook, it was far too heavy. There is no way to slide it in and stand above it to pick it up and place on the hook. Nor can you slide the tank inside the door because there is a hole and the tank falls thru. The only way to get the tank on the hook is to lift it from a sitting or kneeling position which is terrible on the back. Also, there is just not enough room to maneuver inside the door where the tank fits. I called support and their only solution was call a strong man which is what I had to do. I used to have a mega grill because I had parties of 25 people or more, but where I live it's not practical to host that many people so this was a great alternative for me and a few friends. I could also lift the propane tank on the hook by myself because I could lift from a standing position. So based on this I would not recommend this product to anyone unless they can lift a lot of weight from a strange position and don't have back issues.

A couple of other improvements I would make. Put hooks inside the door to hang the utensils. Yes there is room to store the utensils but they fall all over the place.

On the cover: That storage bag is a waste. Who is going to roll up the cover and stuff it back in that tiny storage back (yes that's how it came but it's like a map, you would never get it to fit again).

Again, weber makes great products but really missed the mark on the propane tank holder.
