Perfection

I bought this grill a few months ago because my friend has a Weber smoker. He loves his and recommended I buy Weber products. Needless to say, I am a Weber fanatic now. This grill is fantastic. It's light weight and the handle makes carting this thing to the lake a breeze. It definitely holds the heat very well. I just bought a Weber chimney starter as well and it is another fantastic product that makes lighting lump coal easy. I will be definitely be buying more products in the future with my next purchase being a smoker.

Thanks for the great products!

Another Great product from Weber...

I got this grill for Father's Day to replace our 15yr old Smokey Joe. The old grill was too small to serve my growing family of four during our frequent camping excursions (during which we grill dinner every night out). The old grill also had flimsy legs, which I'd bent every which way over the years. Jumbo has all the great features of weber's portable units, but I absolutely LOVE the lid holder that both holds the lid for cooking and secures it during transit. The cooking space available is amazing, and overall the unit takes up very little additional space in our RV during the pack up. I can't wait to use it again and again over the years!

love my Jumbo Joe!

The size makes it! Even though I usually grill for only one or two, there is room to do indirect cooking. It's perfect.

I've been without a grill for awhile, so my first night out was such fun! It's also easy to clean up, which is necessary each time I use it as I live in an apartment. Now I just hope for some accessories, like a bag/cover and hinged grill that fits the Jumbo.

Great little grill

I bought this grill to take on a camping trip. I was debating the smaller gold vs the jumbo joe and I am so very glad i got the jumbo. The extra space was well worth it. I find the heat plenty easy to control with the bottom damper and just like my 22" i use at home it just works great. I have used it quite a bit since my camping trip as well since its big enough for every day cooking. Once football season starts I'm sure this grill will be getting a tailgating workout.

Too much is always better than not enough

I've got  one 22" and two 18"Weber Smokey Mountains, along with a Kamado ceramic grill and a Lodge cast iron hibachi, but for a quick grill of burgers and hotdogs, the Jumbo Joe can't be beat for versatility. All my 18" accessories work with it and if you want to double your grill space, just pick up a Weber Hinged Cooking grate and stack the Joe's grate on top of it upside down. Plenty of space for indirect cooking and three-zone smoking. With a charcoal chimney and some Weber paraffin tablets, you can take on anything from sausages to low-and-slow ribs. If you're stuck on a desert island, this is the grill to take with you.
