Don't let the size fool you

The 14.5 is just as good as the 22". One full basket using the Minon Method burned for 10 hour at 225-245 deg. I did like the review of the guy who gave it 1 Star. The guy lets his fire get out of control and melts the grommet. He then blames the product. LOL!!!! Ignore that fool.

Little Beast!

My collection includes a Weber kettle, 22" Smokey Mtn, 2 offset, a horizontal, and a pit. The 14" gets used more than all! Cooking space may be tight; load the chimney for a 6-8 hrs 225* cook. Easy clean-up....Weber quality as expected....Little Smoking Beast!

Rubber grommet melts

Well I have used only one time and the rubber grommet melted.. Messed up the center ring.. Called Weber they are sending new grommet and center ring free of charge.. The lady I spoke to was very nice and helpful. Did anyone have this same problem? Wonder if the new one they are sending will melt also! I will give better rating when I can figure how rubber grommet will not melt.

Good little smoker

I just got a Weber, two days ago. I've been smoking on an offset for 14 years, and saw this, on sale, so I couldn't pass it up. My offset doesn't hold temp, when it's cold, but this thing works like a champ. I've had it three days, and have used it two times. This is also much easier to clean than my offset. I know I'm going to love it!

Delivered my ability to a whole new level!

Absolutely love my smoker! Have since given the same model as a gift to two other people and been singing the praises to family and friends. This little guy handles two cut up whole chickens! I've had two racks of ribs on the top rack. Last week I smoked 30 legs for a party. You need a little extra time when cooking for a large group. The temp hovers around 200-225 when full. When not loaded, easily cranks up to 250. Comfortably handles dinner for my family of 4. If you frequently host large parties, maybe the next size up would be a better fit. Spray the racks before smoking for easy clean up.

Great for the RV

I have the full size 22" WSM for home but like to take my cooking hobby with me in the RV where storage space is limited. This little cooker is the answer. I can have a couple racks of ribs, pulled pork, chicken etc while traveling because the small footprint is easy to pack away. It has the same Weber quality and design and works just as nicely as the larger versions. Thank You for reintroducing this WSM size -- it's perfect for the smaller cooks on the road and even at home.

Awesome little smoker

Bought this thinking I would only use it on weekend camping trips. I was wrong. I find myself using this around the house more so than my Brinkman TMLE. Nice thing is, any one can make good meat on this with just a little know how and it is very easy to set it and forget it for 6-8 hours.

Small but mighty!

I've used this little smoker twice now and it really does a fantastic job. I am new to smoking but am a veteran backyard griller. Yesterday I smoked pork shoulder for 10 hours and we are enjoying perfect pulled-pork sandwiches today. I am going to get a lot of use out of this smoker!

If you do get one here's some advice that I learned the hard way:
* Cover the water bowl in tinfoil before each use.
* Smoke on the driveway or someplace away from the dogs (if you have any) or anyone who might knock into it. Never on your deck! (Smoking is an extremely messy business.)
* Never smoke on a table (might fall over).
* Clean the smoker immediately after each use. If you don't the all of the pieces will be stuck solid (including the vents).
* A small stool will be your best friend while smoking (much better than crouching).
