Finally bought a Weber....

After buying a new grill every 2 (or less) years and getting upset that my grill kept falling apart, I finally took my best friend's recommendation and bought a Weber Genesis Gas Grill. I balked at the price, but when you consider that you buy a Brinkmann (or other) grill for $400 every 2 years, I think this one will pay for itself. I grill about 3 times a week - and when I grilled the first time I could tell right away I made the right choice in getting a Weber. Solid construction, good heat distribution, and quality materials make this grill worth the money. I am still figuring out how to grill on this one, and I have obviously gone to the major leagues - there is a huge difference between this one and the grills I used to buy. I am now a fan, and realize I was missing the boat all this time.

Impressed

I always bought a new grill every 2 or 3 years, for when they rusted the parts were almost as much as a new grill, I was looking into buying another cheap grill, my kids surprised me and bought me a Genesis EP330, it was even already assembled I could not believe how heavy it was coming off the pick up truck, of course we had a cookout that day.
I could tell right away how nice this grill is when cooking, no big flare ups, I can also not find any hotspots so far, seems to cook pretty evenly, the heavy body and lid hold heat very well, I was impressed, my wife even noticed on day one how much better it cooked, none of her food was burned or close to it, if I knew 30 years ago how nice a quality grill cooks, I would have bought one, I ill never buy a cheap store brand grill again.
I researched the grill and saw how expensive they are, I would have never spent that much on a grill, so happy my kids all pitched in and got this for me and my wife.
If you are considering buying a cheap grill, take it from me and do not do it, Quality as I have learned makes a big difference.
I grill about 2 to 3 times a week year round even in the winter, so far I am impressed every time I use it

Weber is the best!

OMG. This grill is unbelievable. The quality is second to none. When I go to home depot I always look at the those garbage grills and they just feel so light and flimsy now. Just garbage.

If I could make out with this grill, I would.

Just get one you cheap SOB!!!!

I'm in love with my grill!

I do not typically BBQ that often - more so in the summer, like most people, however I had been using charcoal only and have not ever used or owned a gas grill. My previous grills were some cheapy Walmart specials - mainly because I didn't use it that often and I just didn't care to spend the extra money. After going through a few of these cheap grills (pretty much buying a new one each year or so) I decided I wanted to redo my backyard this year and subsequently, add a new grill to my repertoire. I went to Home depot and started looking at the cheaper models (CharBroil, Brinkman, etc) as I still wasn't sure how much I really wanted to spend or what spending more would actually do as far as cooking quality for me. After looking at a few grills and even toying with one that would do both charcoal and Gas cooking, I decided to look at the reviews before I made a final decision. Ultimately I am sooooo glad that I did! Pretty much all the other grills had at least one comment that said "you get what you pay for" or something to the effect of "save your money up and get a Weber'. After all my research I decided that I would just go all in and get something that will last and that I would be happy with for a long time to come. I knew I wanted a side burner, and larger grilling area, and a temperature gauge. I settled on this grill and ordered it online from home depot. It came about a week later and I ended up putting it together myself. The initial set up/assembly did take me some time - about 2 or so hours, however I was doing it all myself. The instructions are relatively easy to read and the install wasn't difficult, just a little time consuming (or maybe I was just too anxious to get to use it, that it seemed time consuming :) ).

Once I got it up and running I fired it up and it worked BEAUTIFULLY. I'm super happy with it and have had it now for about 2 weeks - I have been grilling pretty much every day, sometimes more than once a day HAHA. I love it!! it's by far the best grill I have ever had, and the flavor is exceptional. This was something I was afraid I would lose with going to a gas grill, but with the cast iron grates and flavorizer bars, I honestly can't tell much of a difference from charcoal grilling. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend this grill to anyone who doesn't mind paying a little extra to get a great product. The cooking is consistant, the gas is much easier than charcoal, the grill preheats within 10 minutes, and the clean up is relatively easy as well. Oh - by the way, I am IN LOVE with my grill.... did I say that already? LOL :)

First Gas Grill

This is my first gas grill but only my second grill. First grill was a Weber Charcoal , I bought 29 years ago and still using today.
My wife hates to light the charcoal so after 15 years of marriage I broke down and got gas. I love it, find it very easy to use and cooks get.
So far I have done a whole chicken ( turned out very tender and juicy ) and my wife has done both hot dogs and hamburgers, both turn out great and not burned. I would tell everyone to buy one and I also know that being a Weber it is the last gas grill I will ever need.

Best Grill I've ever had!

I have had many grills over the years. Most in the $300-$500 range and most will last 4-5 years. Spring through Fall we grill 4-5 nights a week. It was time to replace, and while we were looking and researching my wife opened the lid on a Weber 330. When she did she said, " this is the one, I can feel the difference in the weight of the lid". I had stayed away from Weber before because I didn't believe it was worth the difference in price. I can now say after having my Weber 330 for a while, it is the best grill I've ever had. I love the fact that I have such control over the temperature. I can control It from 200 to 650 with ease. With the burner warranty 10 years, I plan on having this grill for a long time. There were many other grills we looked at with equal or lesser cost, that had comparable and even more features. In my humble opinion, The Weber 330 has all you need and better quality and durability. I love my Weber 330, and am thankful my wife pushed this tight wad to spend the extra for quality.

I'm telling you, this is good!!!!

I have been grilling for over 40 years, in all kinds of weather. My old grill ($350 stainless beauty) had the firebox rusted thru after 5 years, so I was going to replace parts. It would cost over $300 to do so, so I began to review grills online and looking in big box stores. Turns out Weber is the best. A bit expensive and there are no bargans, but I ordered the natural gas Genesis model from Amazon. Delivery was great, 190 pound box put directly on my back deck by very friendly driver.
Instructions pretty straight forward. Use a socket wrench instead of the bad little wrench enclosed in the box... throw that one away. It took me about 3 hours by myself but would take less if you had a helper. You find out what a great piece if machinery (art) this is by putting it together. Very solid construction.
Being fairly experienced at grilling I did not think this grill would cook any better.... I was wrong. Really cooks better. Much better range of heat... lots higher heat to a very even low setting. Just LOVE the sear section.... works great. Very controllable heat really makes a difference. Because it has such great construction and very easily replacement of parts I am looking forward to many years of happy grilling... thanks to Weber!

Amazing grill

I have the EP-330 Green (EP has the stainless grates and flavorizer bars).
This grill is amazing, and i use it year round regardless of temperature. Ive used it in -20 to over 100 degrees and it worked like a champ. Every area of the grill cooks equally even and just performs so well. The sear station is great for when im cooking steaks and i can get them great sear marks. I have also added the front handle light which is wonderful at night. I bought the weber hand tools which go great with the 6 tool hooks on the grills resting arms. Ive used this grill in the rain and snow and it hasn't rusted. This grill is a piece of art and is built so well and looks gorgous sitting on my porch. I had no issues putting the grill together and it always fires up perfect each time. Weber also has great customer service when ive called for questions regarding models and what not. I also had a weber kettle shipped to me some time ago from a retail store and the lid was dented (not webers fault) and i called weber to ask how i would go about getting another hood. Weber apologized and asked for my address. The next morning UPS knocked on my door with a brand new in the box hood that was flawless. Rest easy that you get great service and great quality from Weber.

A quality experience

Assembling this grill was half the fun, the parts are so well made that it was a joy discovering each part and then adding it to the grill assembly. Easy to operate, have had good results with my grill.

Never go back .. Weber is it.

I had a Weber a few years ago, and after having that one for eight years, I went with another brand. I will never leave! My Weber kicks... They are more money but so worth it. From the first steak we made to last nights turkey, we can just tell that this is the grill to have. We live in the Midwest, and its cold outside. It took only a few minutes for the grill to get to heat, it would take the other brand grill much more time. The test with the great steaks we bought, and grill, preformed flawlessly.

We are back, and never leaving Weber Nation!

The Grill is not the only great thing about buying a Weber BBQ, the whole experience has been great. Easy purchase with good expertise in the salesperson, home delivery, assembled & tested. Love it, threw my steak on the grill within half an hour of the delivery! Love the accessories, just preparing my first pizza experience.

About Time

I have been cooking outdoors for years, using different grills, and even though my Weber grill is new and have only used it twice, it is hands down the best grilling experience I have ever had. I have always been able to tell the difference in the quality of the Weber and don't know why it took me so long to own one.

Highly recommend this grill

We have had this grill a month now and I am more impressed every time we use it. We purchased the green E330 "wifes choice" . I decided on the E330 only because of the sear station on this model. My wife likes to sear everything. The build quality is second to none and made in the USA is icing on the cake.
The grill we replaced was 6 years old and rusting through so badly after taking great care of it. I will never ever recommend CB again to anyone. Spend the extra money and get the Weber you will not be sorry and will help employ americans.

Grilling is great on the E330. Warms up fast and cooks so evenly. Sear station works great. I told my wife we will not go through half the LP gas we did on our other grill. This grill cooks quick and the food is great that comes off this grill.
I am not one to do reviews but this grill really impresses me that much.
Thank You Weber and your employees.

Excellent quality grill!

The Grill arrived safely tightly packed in a very large box. It took about 2 hours to assemble, which includes the unpacking and sorting of parts, not bad at all!

I could not be happier with the grill, it looks excellent and allows me to grill like a pro. The sear burner comes in handy to get a good crisp surface to lock in the flavor. The flavorizer bars were doing their job of vaporizing any juices that drip on them which i am sure helped add flavor to the meat. The porcelain-coated cast iron cooking grates left beautiful sear marks on the steak.

You can tell quality when you see and feel it, and this grill is all quality. A good quality test is to open the lid and shake it around a little bit and if you hear a lot of shaking and rattling coming from the entire grill, it isn't a Weber! This thing is almost completely silent when given the shake test! Well built to say the least!

I see a looong delicious future with my new Grill!

And it's made in America!
