Sticky Honey and Mustard Chicken Kebabs

Ingredients

Honey  Mustard  Chicken  Skewers 346X318
  • 2 Chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 3 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 15g fresh thyme
  • 3 tbsp runny honey
  • 1 lemon, juice and zest of
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

    In the kitchen:

  • 01 Prepare the marinade. Combine the garlic, thyme leaves, brown sugar, salt and pepper in a pestle & mortar and grind to a even paste.
  • 02 Add the mustard, lemon juice, zest and olive oil.
  • 03 Pour the marinade into a re-sealable food bag and add the chicken. Marinade for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • At the barbecue:

  • 01 Place onto the kebab skewers and cook over a direct heat.
  • 02 Turn twice, every 5 minutes.
