Ingredients

  • 250ml water
  • 250ml milk
  • 100g yeast
  • 90g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 10g salt
  • 200g margarine
  • 1.2kg wheat flour
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

    Make your own burger buns for your juicy burgers.

    In the kitchen:
    • Dissolve the yeast in the milk and water. Add the 
rest of the ingredients apart from the flour, and keep a little egg for brushing.
    • Add the flour gradually until the dough has a good texture.
    • Knead the dough using a mixer or by hand until it 
has an elastic texture.
    • Cover the dough and allow it rise for 30 minutes.
    • Divide into appropriate burger bun portions and roll the buns.
    • Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional). Place them on baking paper on a pizza stone tray.
    At the barbecue:
    • Prepare the barbecue for in-direct heat, approx. 200 °C.
    • Place the pizza stone in the centre of the grate, put the lid on the barbecue and wait 10 minutes.
    • Place the baking tray with the buns on the stone and bake them for 12-15 minutes.
