Ingredients

Scandinavian Forrest Oatmeal 692X636Px 346X318
  • 1 Apple
  • 100g Almonds
  • 400ml Oats
  • 400ml Milk
  • 300ml Water
  • 30g Sugar
  • 200g Berries (e.g raspberries, blueberries etc)

Instructions

    In the kitchen:

  • 01 Wash and cut the apple in half. Remove the core and dice.
  • At the barbecue:

  • 01 Prepare the barbecue for direct heat – approx. 150 ºC. Place the pan on the barbecue and roast the almonds until golden. Remove the almonds from the barbecue, allow them to cool and then chop into smaller pieces.
  • 02 While the almonds are cooling down, pour the oats, milk, water and sugar into the saucepan and place on the grate. Cook the porridge – making sure to stir it until it is boiling.
  • 03 Remove the porridge from the barbecue and turn in the berries.
  • 04 Top the porridge off with the chopped roasted almonds and pieces of apple.
