  • Completed step 1 Apple
  • Completed step 100g Almonds
  • Completed step 400ml Oats
  • Completed step 400ml Milk
  • Completed step 300ml Water
  • Completed step 30g Sugar
  • Completed step 200g Berries (e.g raspberries, blueberries etc)

Instructions

This filling barbecued breakfast is the perfect way to start the day.

In the kitchen:
  • Wash and cut the apple in half. Remove the core and dice.
At the barbecue:
  • Prepare the barbecue for direct heat – approx. 150 ºC. Place the pan on the barbecue and roast the almonds until golden. Remove the almonds from the barbecue, allow them to cool and then chop into smaller pieces.
  • While the almonds are cooling down, pour the oats, milk, water and sugar into the saucepan and place on the grate. Cook the porridge – making sure to stir it until it is boiling.
  • Remove the porridge from the barbecue and turn in the berries.
  • Top the porridge off with the chopped roasted almonds and pieces of apple.
