Dough  Balls  A 346X318
  • 350g strong bread flour
  • 7g dried yeast
  • 225ml milk / water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 20ml olive oil
  • 125g Buffalo mozzarella, for stuffing

Instructions

These tasty dough balls are a delicious starter, easy main course or make a great alternative to bread as a side to pasta or salad dishes.

  • First make the dough. Put the flour, salt, olive oil, yeast and water into a large bowl and mix with your hands to bind together. When the dough has formed, tip out and knead for 5 minutes.
  • Return the dough to a greased bowl and allow to prove for 1 hour.
  • Shape the dough into dough balls approximately 20g each, folding the dough around the 1cm piece of mozzarella and leave to prove for a further 30 minutes.
  • Bake for 10 minutes over a medium, indirect heat.
