Before you get started

Download the Weber Connect® App
Download the Weber Connect App – it’s your gateway to the ultimate in control and monitoring. Once downloaded, pair it to your Searwood.

Fill your hopper with your choice of Weber all-natural hardwood pellets
The hopper is designed to hold a 9 kg bag of pellets. There’s no exact science to how many pellets you’ll use for each cook, but higher temperatures burn through pellets faster, although that’s offset by a shorter cook time. We suggest that it’s good practice to have an extra bag on hand!

Power up and season your Searwood
Once plugged in, set your Searwood to 230°C, and let it run for at least 30 minutes. If you’re going to cook straight away, you can simply lift the lid, clean the grills with a wire brush, and then set your desired cook temperature to get started. Otherwise, lift the lid, clean the grills with a wire brush and then shut down your Searwood.
