The Weber Grill Academy and Barossa wine producer, Gibson Wines, have entered a unique partnership, with Gibson wines now exclusively being poured at Weber Grill Academy’s flagship barbecue class experiences.

Kicking off in the new year, barbecue class experience attendees at the Weber Grill Academy will be able to sample some of the Barossa’s finest drops, with Gibson Wine’s Discovery Road releases available for general consumption, and selected Gibson flagship wines available for tastings.

“We’re all about creating memorable, educational and delicious experiences for our guests, focussed on local produce cooked on Weber barbecues. An important part of these experiences is our local wine and beverage offering”, says Adam Mizzi, General Manager at the Weber Grill Academy.

“We are proud to be able to showcase South Australian grown and produced wines with a unique South Australian story. It really connects with our own Adelaide roots, with Weber Australia’s original founder, Ross McDonald, bringing the Weber brand to Australia in 1978,” continues Adam.

The Gibson Cellar Door in Light Pass, in the Northern Barossa, is a secret place to discover. Chad Elson, Gibson Wines CEO, said, “Through this partnership, we’ll be providing more than 3,000 Adelaide locals and visitors the opportunity to taste our wines and hear our brand story. We hope to encourage further visitation to the Barossa region to showcase its heritage, produce and experiences.”

Whilst the smoke and char influence of Weber barbecued foods will perfectly pair to a range of Gibson’s wines, it is a shared love of bringing people together that both brands look forward to inspiring.

So, book your barbecue class experience, and wash down your barbecued feast with a glass or two of Barossa Valley flavour from Gibson Wines.
