Ingredients

Weber Spider Cookies 346X318
  • 85g plain flour
  • ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 60g unsalted butter
  • 65g soft brown sugar
  • 35g caster sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 100g milk chocolate

Instructions

    In the kitchen:

  • 01 In a Weber Style sauce pan melt your butter then cream and the two sugars. Once well combined add the egg yolk and then beat until well mixed.
  • 02 Sift the flour and bi carb into the sauce pan with the sugar and mix. Finally add your roughly chopped chocolate and bind together using a wooden spoon. (Make sure you leave few chocolate chips to place on top of the cookies).
  • 03 Line a Weber grill pan with baking parchment and drop 6 even balls of cookie dough on to the tray leaving plenty of space for the dough to spread. Place 2 chocolate chips on top each cookie.
  • At the barbecue:

  • 01 Pre-heat your grill to in-direct 180°C and cook your cookies for 10 minutes until golden brown on the edges.
  • 02 While the chocolate chips on top of the cookies are still melted, use a toothpick to create small spiders.
