Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough heat, would you believe! This BBQ has a lot of things that attracted me, and it is of a decent quality for its price point, which at the same time is not on the cheap side. This is why I am incredibly disappointed in it, since it seems to have failed on the most important thing: the cooking heat!! Having had it for 2 years (in Ireland, so only really a few months of outside cooking time), I initially thought I was imagining it. However, after a lot of digging online, I am not the only one who has come to the conclusion that it just does not produce enough heat. On my last cook, I had nice ribeye steaks. I heated the grill for over 30 mins with the lid closed, and the temp gauge was reading over 200. I placed the steaks on the grill and all was good—the nice sear and sizzle that you would expect. With both burners on full, on turning the steaks after a little cooking time: nothing!!! No sizzle, nothing; the grill didn't even manage to sear the meat. This has been the overall result for everything; it just seems to never have enough heat or retain any heat, it seems to be at about 80% of where it needs to be. I can't believe that a BBQ of this quality would fail in such a way. I have never had this issue with any of my BBQs before this, and some of them were less than half the price of this.
