Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and Big I love the size because I like to indirect cook my chicken. It gets about 425-450 degrees with just the two end burners. For the most part, the panels are thick and I like the heaviness of it. I didn't like that it took me four hours to assemble. A big time consumer was a change in directions that were not included in the directions manual. After calling and wasting about an hour, I found the new instructions in the owners manual. Evidently I should have read the owners manual first. I also complained to Weber that it would be wonderful if they would include text with the instruction pictures. Words would have sped assembly up a bunch. I left fingerprints on the doors and they now don't want to come off easily. Is it worth 15 hundred? It will be for me if it doesn't fall apart in three years. And if parts do deteriorate, the long warranty should take care of it. I even saw aftermarket parts online.

This is my second Weber and when this Genesis finally wears out in 20 years I will buy another. One part was damaged in shipping and dealing with the CS rep was a pleasure. Keep up the good work Weber.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless My son-in-law and daughter bought me a summit grill for my birthday and Father’s Day. Very nice very expensive. One little problem it doesn’t work, it lights but won’t sty lit. Guess what Weber won’t stand behind their product, so l’m stuck with a $4000 piece of stainless steel. Buyer beware!!!
