Rated 5 out of 5 by Girl grill from No sticking when you use it properly by preheating I use this for the first time today to grill a salmon fillet and asparagus. It worked perfectly. Nothing stuck at all. I think the reason why others are having the fish or other item stick is because they are not properly preheating the basket. Just like any other cooking surface you have to preheat it before you put your protein or something on it or else it will stick. I left the basket unhinged in the grill while I preheated it. Once the grill was hot enough at about 500° I put my salmon and asparagus in it and locked the hinge. I let it grill on the skin side for about 5 minutes then flipped it over and grilled it on the other side. It worked perfectly in grilled perfectly even the skin got crispy which is the best.
