Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent grill, but poor instructions for assembly I've had Weber Genesis natural gas grills in the past and loved them. For this new home, purchased a propane gas Genesis grill to assembly on my own since the store wanted 1-2 weeks to assemble it. The instructions for assembly are pictures only, and very difficult to follow in certain places. It also took several hours to assemble. Overall, the grill works great and looks great. Would have preferred an infrared burner on the side rather than the propane flame, but it still works great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Damaged at factory or warehouse. I bought this grill from a local shop. The outside package was fine. Once I had it home and unpacked from the main box I started finding damaged parts. One frame was completely bent, and the side cabinet was smashed in on one side. This must have happened before it was shipped to the store I bought it from. Weber sent me a new frame piece, but it has been almost a month and I am still waiting on the side cabinet. So, we spent almost $2000 on a grill that we haven't been able to fully use. This was my first Weber gas grill, we wanted to splurge on something nice, and I am disappointed with the experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do yourself a favor - don't look at anything else! I've owned Weber Grills for over 30 years and this is the best ever! I find it cooks exceptionally well and seems more efficient (uses less propane than earlier models) yet creates higher temperatures very quickly. I love the porcelain coated cast grilles as they really do create great steaks when compared with the stainless grids on my older model. I believe this is as close to the ultimate grille as you can find. What would I change to make it the ultimate? 1. I would make the Weber Crafted Frame Kit and the Expandable Top Cooking Grate from stainless steel in lieu of chromed steel These are both already rusting on my grill and this has been an issue on the top cooking grate on all my Webers. I would happily pay a little more to have them made from stainless and avoid the rusty look and nigh impossible cleaning. 2. I would improve the accessibility for replacing the propane tank. Inevitably you have to crouch over on the ground and lift a heavy propane cylinder onto a seemingly small attachment hook with a single hand. Some of the competitors have already focused attention on this and created excellent solutions. In conclusion I must congratulate Weber on their outstanding customer warranty which is unlike all those great looking grills you see in the big box stores. I recall contacting Weber eight years ago to order some new parts for my grill and when the order was finalized they told me the parts would all ship to me at no charge as they were still covered under their warranty! Wow! Such integrity and totally unexpected - Customer Focus like that will keep me as a customer for life!
