  • 1.300 kilogram Chicken Thighs
  • Barbecue Sauce

Marinate:

  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 1 Spring Onion
  • 2 Habanero
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Chinese Five Spice
  • 3 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 100 milliliters Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

    IN THE KITCHEN :

  • Place jerk chicken marinate ingridents into a food processor and blend till a paste like consistency.
  • In a bowl, add your chicken thighs and marinate. Place in fridge and let it rest and marinate for about 4-8hours.
  • AT THE BARBECUE:

  • Set your barbecue grill for direct heat and preheat at 250°C.
  • Place your chicken in grill, skin side down and grill for 3minutes. Then flip and grill for 2 minutes.
  • Apply your favorite Barbecue sauce, and grill for another 30 seconds.
  • Remove from grill when your chicken reaches internal temperature of 73°C.
