The Weber Searwood was developed and optimised to work with Weber pellets, which have a particular material composition, size and shape profile. Weber pellets are designed to enhance the flavour of food cooked on the pellet barbecues and smokers, and come in a range of varieties to complement different food types, including Hickory, Mesquite, Apple, Cherry and GrillMaster Blend.
Yes, with the Weber Connect app, the Searwood can be controlled and monitored while you’re away from the barbecue. Please note that you cannot start the Weber Searwood remotely.
The control and operating systems, material construction and cooking capabilities are the same – but their capacities are different. If you regularly cook large quantities of food, the Seawood XL 600 comes with more than 2,000 cm2 of extra cooking area (compared to the Searwood 600) – a total of 6,260 cm2!
In terms of physical size, the height and depth are the same, but the Searwood XL 600 is 30 cm wider at 128 cm from end-to-end.
