  • Marketing Coordinator - Netherlands

    Marketing Coordinator Netherlands (M/F)

    Fulltime (38 hours per week), located in Sint Nicolaasga (Netherlands). Applicants must live in a commutable distance to the office.

     Key responsibilities will include the following:

    1. Shout about the brand  

    • Work with the Hub West Brand Communications Manager to secure the right campaigns, content & assets for the market
    • Manage agency partners to deliver on media buying, PR, Social Media & Influencer activities
    • Select & purchase media to maximise exposure for the Weber brand and deliver on campaign objectives
    • Liaise with Brand Communications Manager to optimise media performance, taking best-practice from other countries
    • Manage the relationship with the local Brand Ambassador(s)
    • Augment Hub West campaigns through PR & influencer activities
    • Oversee the local press office, ensuring Weber is visible in relevant publications
    • Manage the implementation of local Social Media activity, working with the Brand Communications manager to develop the monthly calendar
    • Manage the localization of communication material for the local market which contains of translations and proofreading
    • Identify and develop local brand partnerships to increase reach and consideration
    • Report regularly on key metrics relating to media, PR & Social Media
    • Adapt & devise sell-in material for products & campaigns
    • Communicate local assets to the sales team & retailer partners
    • Convey local SiS & POS requirements to the Hub Trade Marketing Manager
    • Oversee execution of POS/SiS, working with local Sales Support team/Merchandisers to ensure adherence to retail merchandising guidelines
    • Manage any local co-op marketing with key retail customers
    • Develop key customer event spaces, working with Hub Trade Marketing and GA & Experience Managers
    • Brief the Digital & Ecom Manager on any specific local requirements for weber.com
    • Plan and execution of PR & consumer facing events working with the Grill Academy & Experience Coordinator to define the culinary experience
    • Work with the Product Manager, Sales and Sales Support team to deliver best-in-class retailer training
    • Drive the sales team to achieve the target for BBQ courses 

    2. Own The Shopping Experience

    • Deliver high impact local trade show events to secure customer commitment

    3. Preach The Weber Way of Grilling

    • Manage the GA & Experience Coordinator to achieve the local target for Grill Academy, through promoting Grill Academy & integration in all marketing activities 
    • Liaise with the GA & Experience Coordinator to devise an effective demonstration program and oversee the execution in the local market 

    About You

    Experience

    • Minimum 3 years working in brand marketing for premium brands 
    • Minimum of HBO level
    • Delivered numerous campaigns & events to a high standard
    • Used to managing agencies and ensuring they deliver on-time and to budget

    Skills

    • Fluent both in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
    • Ability to think from a consumer perspective
    • Highly organised with strong project management skills
    • Able to multi-task and manage competing priorities
    • Can-do attitude and thrives on taking on responsibility

    Trade Marketing Manager EMEA (M/F)

    Fulltime (38 hours per week), located in Sint Nicolaasga (Netherlands), travel 5-10%. 

    Primary Duties & Responsibilities

    The Trade Marketing Manager EMEA is responsible for the development of concepts and guidelines for continuously improving the EMEA-wide shopper activation strategy at the POP across all distribution channels incl. advise for local adaption/execution within the different countries:

    • The Manager Trade Marketing EMEA, reporting to the Head of Communication & Trade Marketing is responsible for designing and continuously improving the performance of all activities related to the in-store activation of the consumer (shopper journey).
    • In alignment with the Head of Communication & Trade Marketing and the global marketing team he/she will develop the POP concepts (promotions, new product launches, displays, in-store posters, catalogues, dealer toolbox etc.), and surveys the roll-out process into the countries. He/she owns and leads the development, alignment, and supports the local implementation of the POP materials across the different trade channels.

    Accountability / key performance measures

    The post bearer will advise his/her superior on the development and execution of strategic tasks. Following items are of specific importance:

    • Foster consumer engagement/connectivity by developing unique and creative POP materials (seasonal promotions, new product launches, displays, shelf material, pallet covers, in-store posters etc.) which simplify the in-store journey and tells the key/brand stories from the front of the store to the back
    • Ensure POP deliverables contain clearly articulated product info, features and consumer benefits, as well as clear call-to-action to support conversion and engagement
    • Develop promotion concepts and guidelines that are winning and grounded in consumer insights and reflect customer principles and policies
    • Lead development of creative assets by working with defined agencies and ensure delivery of ready-to-adapt/execute concepts for the local markets (EMEA Marketing Toolbox)
    • Manage the execution across countries and pre/post analysis of in-store promotions and develop best practice recommendations that improve in-store activity effectiveness
    • Quantity planning and supervision of implementation together with country marketing team and external suppliers
    • Purchase in collaboration with purchase department
    • Ensure alignment with logistics to best support implementation process within the countries
    • Ensure activity sets are managed to budget
    • Building professional collaboration structures with the local country marketing teams to ensure smooth roll-out process
    • Support Head of Communication & Trade Marketing to translate category trade strategies into specific programs to achieve annual sales volume

    About You

    Experience 

    • Min 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
    • Extensive knowledge in POP Marketing for dealer and retailer is mandatory
    • In-store/customer facing experience needed
    • Experience in leading international roll-out processes is a plus
    • A HBO degree in marketing or a related subject

    Key competences 

    • Passion and enthusiasm for the brand Weber and for grilling.
    • Must have international project management experience.
    • Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated strength in planning, organizing and project management skills to meet deadlines; adept at prioritization and multi-tasking
    • Quickly able to identify trends, opportunities and business solutions, and problem solving
    • Strong planning and process management skills.
