Wing Rub

  • Completed step 4 lbs. of whole chicken wings with wing tips
  • Completed step 2 tablespoons Weber Seasoning Salt

Peach BBQ Sauce

  • Completed step 1½ cups tomato ketchup
  • Completed step 1 cup peach purée (blended canned peaches)
  • Completed step ½ cup peach nectar
  • Completed step ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • Completed step ½ cup Crown Royal Peach Canadian Whiskey
  • Completed step 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • Completed step 1 tablespoon cumin powder
  • Completed step 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Completed step 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • Completed step Salt, Pepper and Hot sauce to taste

Instructions

  • Season the chicken wings with seasoning salt and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  • In a blender purée peaches until it is smooth in texture.
  • To a saucepan add all sauce ingredients and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat and allow to reduce by 1/3 stirring occasionally.
  • Prepare the Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker, using the minion method, for smoking heat (250°-275°F).
  • Smoke the wings until an internal temperature of at least 150°F is reached to begin brushing the sauce over the wings on both sides.
  • Continue applying the BBQ sauce every 15 minutes until the wings reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F (best enjoyed around 180°F-190°F).
  • Enjoy with friends!
