Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fixed my Weber Q! I tried all of the tricks to get my OLD Weber Q (Weber Q 2200) out of safety mode (~200F max temp). Tricks including cleaning, buying a new hose, and opening the tank valve first and waiting 20 minutes before opening the regulator. Nothing worked. This regulator was the answer. My old regulator must have been stuck in safety mode. The installation directions were great and included the exact wrench sizes I needed. It took only 10 minutes from opening the box to having it replaced. My grill can now get to 500F (if I want it to:).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Little heat I was given a q-2200 grill as a present. I had previously seen this model at a tailgate was really impressed for a portable grill. It was 20 degrees out with a strong wind and was able to get up to 500 degrees pretty quick. When I got one for camping I was pretty pumped. Boy was I disappointed. The regulator keeps going into safety mode, even after being lit and getting to temperature. I’ll walk away, come back and it be 200-300 degrees. Other times it wouldn’t heat up past 250. I’ve done the lighting procedure as recommended by Weber, that doesn’t seem to help. Im sure it’s a bad regulator or poor design of a regulator. FYI, the construction does appear solid and if it didn’t have the regulator issue I believe it would be a solid product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quit after 2 uses Spent around $500 with the stand. Used it 2 times and now it won’t light. Just purchased a $51 regulator from a well known site. I’m so frustrated. When it was new I felt it had a low flame on high, I hope that changes. Hope you have better luck
