This sparker was not the same as was removed although I was assured when inquiring that it was the correct/updated part based on my serial and model number. I tested the unit once installed and it worked fine. I packed my grill up and took it on a car camping trip, it never worked again. There was no “snap” when you pushed the button. Given the premium price, I expected more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rffm from Broken Part A plastic part broke off during installation which rendered it useless. As a result, I'm out of pocket for what the part cost and back to the dangerous option of having to use matches to ignite my grill. Does Weber by any chance offer a money back guarantee?
