Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rusty Cooking Grates I have been a Weber Grill fan for years based on the brands previous quality and reliability, I initially purchased my Spirit II Grill 4/2019 and had to replace the cooking grates (Item 67022) in 8/2021 due to excessive rust. I clean my grill regularly with the stainless Steel wire brush per care instructions and keep it protected with the Weber Cover. This season again, the grates are rusty and require replacement. I spoke with Weber Customer Service who very supportive and are sending a new set of grates under warrantee. I would hope that Weber is pursuing this issue with their supplier as 2 sets of grates at $148 each would represent nearly $300 in warrantee payouts for a $480 Spirit Gas Grill. I hope that Weber will resolve the issues as I am otherwise very happy with the Weber Brand and would not want it to go out of business related to inferior sub-supplier issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short lived I bought a Weber gas grill because historically the quality has always been excellent. Extremely disappointed I need replacement grates after a couple years and usage about 3 x a week for 2 people. We clean after every cook. And we spring clean entire grill top to bottom. $148 is too high for grates every 2 years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Has Weber's quality declined??? I hope not, but... Since becoming empty nesters, we decided to get a smaller grill, but one we had hoped to last for many years, without any issues. The grill itself has held up well, (it stays under roof), but the grill grates have rusted terribly. Having to spend over $100 for replacement grates after a few years is every disappointing. I don't expect them to last forever, but when you use the grill once a week at best and it stays out of the weather, you would've hoped for more with Weber having a great name/brand.
