Rated 1 out of 5 by from New parts kept tripping breaker This was a new replacement item in an original grill after the failure of the original, identical item. After jumping through my grommet answering their questions and testing on different circuits and breakers, the unit still only intermittently works as it should. Because so many people have had similar issues, I suspect that there is a problem with the insulation of the heating element (which would be a manufacturing defect since my heating element was a new replacement), or defective insulation of the wiring of the control unit allowing a leak to ground or a leak to neutral in the circuit.  Or, there is a flaw on the circuit board inside the controller shell. We bought this because in the past Weber was reliable. I guess not for this product line.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Replaced 2nd time in 30 months! Two Stars. Why? Because it doesn't last. Bought in March 2023. Replaced controller once already, burnt out again. Also have replaced the burner coil. Kept on breezeway, out of weather and covered. Love the way it works, but not the mechanics.
