Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed with the grates I have a 10+ year old Spirit 3 burner that has worked well in a cold Canadian climate. I had to replace my grates and wanted to try this cast iron grate. The previous original grates (porcelain steel) lasted a long time. Unfortunately, perhaps I was not seasoning/ maintaining proper?? ( I thought I was doing things right). They rusted in less than one year. I like Weber alot but unfortunately, I have to give this a 1 star review.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed Grate Quality I bought this grill five months ago, maybe used it 2x week on average. After each use, the grates are cleaned with a wire brush to remove any remaining food residue. Removed grates to give a thorough cleaning and one broke in half when exerting pressure while scrubbing. Previous Weber grill was 20 years old. Cared for it the same way and never had to be concerned with "gentle cleaning" on the grates. Quality is not the same.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enamel Coating On Grates The grates I just purchased are replacements for a new grill bought in 2019. I have followed Weber guidelines for care of grates. I oil the food and not the grates before cooking, burn off food stuck to grates at the end of cooking, and only use a wooden scraper on grates. In spite of this they rust after two seasons. The enamel coating Weber uses needs to be improved.
