Rated 5 out of 5 by from Webber saving us from a throw away society! Product was impeccably designed with quality materials and engineering. I am most impressed at how easy and well this worked. I applaud Webber for offering such quality replacement parts n this throw away society. Bravo!!! Really gave me a little hope, sounds crazy for just a grill part but it’s true. Brought my grill back to life for less than ten percent of the cost of a new one. I will be staying with Webber for life and sharing my experience with everyone. Grill on!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from System is wonderful The one touch replacement I purchased took a while to install. Getting the old parts out after years of rust requires patience. I was disappointed that the arm to turn the vents does not easily go in. Yeah, precision. But no way this 76 year old man could get it in without a hammer. I doubt many 30 year olds could. Even when I got it stable enough for use I was unable to turn it to lock. (It wont' fall out)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Results The most difficulty I had was in removing the old parts. The visual assembly instructions are correct. It took repeated hammering a heavy screw driver into the parts under the kettle. This was accompanied by using channel lock pliers to work the handle to get it to break loose from the old parts. It took more force than I expected, but things were heavily encrusted with ash, grease, and who-knows-what-else. Follow the drawings in the instructions carefully. They look simple, but contain a lot of details. The blades have to be put together correctly. Details are critical here. Once I was ready to install the new parts I found that the upper assembly would not push down far enough to insert the new handle to go into its place. This was solved by scraping off up to a quarter inch of highly compacted 'stuff' from the inside of the kettle. When you get the handle inserted, make sure it is rotated to its lock in position. I have used the grill twice since the renovation. It is amazing how easy it is to clear out ash with all the crud removed.
